Who We Are

Arthur D. Norwalk, APR, has planned, designed and implemented public relations, advertising and total communications programs for manufacturers, associations and healthcare providers in positions of increasing responsibility with some of the area’s leading communications firms. His multi-faceted background as broadcast journalist, public relations executive and advertising agency principal allows him to offer results-oriented real-world solutions to virtually any communications challenge.

Formerly a partner at Rivers Trainor Doyle & Leicht and its predecessor firm, Leicht & Norwalk, Art’s background also includes service as vice-president and public relations director of LaChance Goodchild Eidson, account executive with Creamer Dickson Basford and press secretary to the Mayor of Providence.

As president of Norwalk Communications, he has created campaigns and marketing materials for Roger Williams Medical Center, Landmark Medical Center, the Rhode Island MRI Network, Kent County Memorial Hospital, HT Investors, John Clarke Retirement & Nursing Center, Rhode Island Urological Specialties, New England Advisory Group and others.

He is an Accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America, a charter member of its Southeastern New England Chapter, a director of the Old Slater Mill Association and a member of the Providence Rotary Club. Before entering the public relations field, he was a senior producer and political analyst for WJAR-TV News and a newswriter for The Associated Press.

 

Mary M. Norwalk is an accomplished marketing communications professional whose work for Rhode Island Hospital and RIGHA has been recognized by awards from the New England Hospital Public Relations and Marketing Association and the Southeastern New England Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

She has developed concepts, copy and design for a variety of advertising, collateral, public relations and audio/visual projects for Roger Williams Medical Center, Kent County Memorial Hospital, Rhode Island MRI Network, Steere House, RIGHA, Central Massachusetts Health Care, St. Joseph Hospital, High Point, Blount Energy Resource Corporation, Plymouth Mortgage Company and the Rhode Island 9-1-1 Emergency Telephone System.
